Hi! I’m Kalyani, a product and interaction designer with a B.S in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Design and Interaction and a minor in Computer Science from UC San Diego.

I’m fascinated by how people make sense of the world—what builds trust, motivates action, makes something easier to learn, or helps someone make a better decision. That curiosity shapes the way I design. I like combining research, behavioral insights, and visual storytelling to turn complex problems into experiences that feel clear, thoughtful, and human.

My work has taken me across healthcare, education, AI, and consumer products, but the thread connecting it all is a love for understanding people deeply and designing with intention. I’m especially drawn to work at the intersection of technology and human behavior, where thoughtful design can make complex tools feel clearer, more accessible, and genuinely useful.
